It was a PERFECTLY PLEASANT stay on my holiday from the amazing range at Ford House's gift emporium All this. The staff, everyone, was helpful and attentive. The room with 4 poster bed. The hotel had a comfortable location in the forest on the edge of a lovely country town. Truly enjoyed the stay here and I will be back.

The location was magnificent, relatively close to Memorial Park. The staff were amazingly efficient and sincere day and night.

We had an incredible stay at Ford House Bed & Breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. The beautiful grounds and well-maintained historical house created a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our room was clean and spacious, and we loved the comfortable bed and selection of pillows. The communal kitchen was well-equipped, and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast served in the charming barn. The gift shop had a great selection of beautiful homewares. We highly recommend Ford House for a romantic or soul-cheering getaway.

The breakfast options were mind-blowing with a wide selection to choose from. The presentation was top-notch and the taste was absolutely delicious! The communal atmosphere during mealtime made it even more enjoyable. The surroundings were simply stunning, providing a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We also loved the rustic charm of the dining area. The gift shops nearby offered unique and interesting gifts to browse through. The location was beautiful and the bed was super comfortable. the experience was nothing short of amazing!

This charming old house is like stepping back in time with beautiful gardens and a historical atmosphere. The decor is lovely and there are plenty of kitchenware and equipment. The rooms have double doors opening onto the veranda and there are flyscreens to keep out mosquitoes. The location is sensational, with the Blackwood River running through and beautiful botanical gardens surrounding the establishment. The staff are friendly and attentive to guests' needs. Pet-friendly for well-behaved dogs.

The atmosphere and ambience at Ford House is unique and quirky. The grounds and gardens are beautiful, the huge collection of high quality homewares, jewellery etc, is a shopper's delight, and the owners are very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend a stay in the Jim Thorpe room. It is large, tastefully furnished, and has special little finishing touches. The room offers access to a huge cosy guest lounge and self contained kitchen. Beyond is a secluded little courtyard surrounded by the extensive gardens. The highlight of the stay was breakfast in the Barn.....a memorable experience!

had a pleasant stay for mini vacation, everything was lovely. the staff was helpful and very very helpful, the room was air conditioned with the spa bath all very clean, a colossal king size and shared bathroom. the location was comfy for exploring this amazing area, just next door to a secluded garden, quiet, town centre many quaint shops and cafes and the barn / store where there is plenty to see.

The decor at Ford House Bed & Breakfast was absolutely charming. I loved the historic feeling of the house, with its beautiful furnishings and pictures. It felt like stepping back in time and living in someone's home. The general areas, like the library and the garden, were delightful and I wish I had more time to explore them. As a senior woman, I found the accessibility of the hotel to be excellent, with comfortable beds and a peaceful atmosphere.

The only thing I would have asked for to make the vacation even better for senior people would be a little more assistance from the children working there. However, overall, the stay was wonderful and I have no major complaints.

We stayed at a historic hotel over New Year's. The setting was peaceful and natural, with a river nearby and beautiful garden views from our room. The room itself looked elegant, with vintage decor and unique furnishings. Our room had a large bathroom and a fully-equipped kitchen and living area, which made our stay even more comfortable.

The heating wasn't quite enough for the chilly weather and we found the room to be a bit too cold for our comfort. , the location wasn't very convenient for those who wanted to be close to the city as it was a bit of a walk to get to the town area.

Easy parking. Friendly owners/staff. Quiet. Dark bedroom. Good shower/bathroom. Nice spread for breakfast. A good spot to buy your birthday gifts, xmas presents, decorations and linen.

Quirky place but very enjoyable & the staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Breakfast around a large table with other guests is a great idea; more places should do it. Our room was large with adequate hanging space & drawers. The en-suite was large & adjacent to our bedroom. The communial kitchen was very well set up with evry item of cutlery & crockery you could want. The extensive gardens with river flowing through were wonderful. I'd happily stay there again.
